TOTALL RECALL 2 (2025) – First Trailer

Total Recall (2025) reimagines the classic sci-fi thriller with a bold new vision, set in a future where reality and memory have become dangerously blurred. Douglas Quaid, an ordinary factory worker plagued by vivid dreams of Mars and a life he’s never lived, becomes obsessed with Rekall, a company specializing in implanting synthetic memories. Hoping to experience a life of adventure, Quaid opts for a memory package that will make him believe he’s a secret agent. But something goes terribly wrong during the procedure, unlocking suppressed memories that suggest Quaid’s current life is an elaborate fabrication.

As his mind fractures, Quaid finds himself hunted by a relentless corporate security force led by Richter, an operative working for Vilos Cohaagen, the powerful CEO of a tech conglomerate controlling Mars’ resources. Quaid is forced to flee, relying on instincts and combat skills he never knew he had. Along the way, he encounters Melina, a rebel fighter who claims to know the real him and insists that Quaid once led a resistance movement against Cohaagen’s oppressive regime on Mars.

Haunted by shifting realities and unsure of who to trust, Quaid follows a trail of clues that take him from Earth’s urban megacities to the colonized domes of Mars. As he dives deeper into the conspiracy, he learns that his true identity is Carl Hauser, a former top agent who switched sides after uncovering Cohaagen’s plan to enslave Mars’ population through mind-control technology disguised as a terraforming project.

The action escalates with intense gunfights, high-speed chases through Martian tunnels, and mind-bending sequences where Quaid’s perception of reality is constantly questioned. Rekall’s invasive memory tech becomes a weapon, manipulating his environment and distorting his sense of self, making the audience wonder if Quaid’s rebellion is real or just another implanted fantasy.

In the climax, Quaid confronts Cohaagen in a final battle that will determine the fate of Mars. He must decide whether to activate a device that could either free the planet or destroy it, depending on whether the memories guiding him are true. The film ends ambiguously, with Quaid and Melina standing under a newly terraformed Martian sky, as Quaid wonders aloud whether he’s still dreaming, leaving the audience questioning the nature of reality.

Total Recall (2025) is a high-octane blend of sci-fi action and psychological thriller, exploring themes of identity, corporate control, and the fragile boundary between memory and reality.
